#1 No reporting of OutOfMemory errors

When the thingy runs out of memory it will be nearly
always attempting to allocate lots of memory for an
image, thus we can probably get enough memory for a
dialog before exiting - especially if the ImageStore is
flushed first.

An ideal solution would be to specify the memory
requirements in the jar file, but this doesn't seem to be
possible.
