🎯 What: Moved imports from inside methods to the top level in src/ledgermind/core/stores/semantic.py.
💡 Why: To improve code maintainability, readability, and adherence to Python best practices (PEP 8). Local imports can hide dependencies and make the code harder to understand.
✅ Verification:
- Ran a reproduction script (
reproduce_issue.py) which instantiated SemanticStore and performed basic operations (save, update) to ensure no circular import errors or runtime failures occurred.
- Ran existing tests (
tests/core/audit/test_semantic.py) and they passed.
- Grepped the file to confirm no imports remain inside methods.
✨ Result: The SemanticStore class now has all its dependencies clearly declared at the top of the file.
