Originally created by: sl4m3

This PR optimizes the sync_meta_index method in SemanticStore by wrapping the file indexing loop in a single database transaction. Previously, each file was indexed with an individual INSERT/UPDATE, causing significant overhead.

Changes:

  • Added rollback_transaction() and batch_update() context manager to SemanticMetaStore.
  • Updated SemanticStore.sync_meta_index to use batch_update() when not already in a transaction.
  • Verified performance improvement with a benchmark (removed before submission).
  • Verified correctness with existing regression tests.
