When using manually calculated tax on sales invoice, printed invoices show the automatically calculated tax figures, rather than the posted manually entered figures.

I am using 1.3.33

A contrived example:

  1. Go to Sales->Sales Invoice
  2. Add an item to the invoice (amount £60 in my case)
  3. Note that tax is automatically added (20% = £12 in my case)
  4. Select Calculate Taxes to Manual
  5. Click Update
  6. Manually set tax rate to 0.1, tax amount to £6
  7. Click Update
  8. Click Post
  9. Note total now correctly shows £66
  10. Print Invoice (Sales Invoice, English(UK), HTML, Screen)

The printed invoice shows the automatically calculated tax, not the posted manually entered figures.

    [patch attached]

    The fix committed in svn 6407 and 6408 does not cater for the situation when manually entered tax is zero.

    If the manually entered tax is zero, the printed invoice will still show the automatically calculated tax, rather than the manually entered zero amount posted to the books.

    This is because the test for manually entered tax is testing for truth, rather than defined-ness.

    The attached trivial patch corrects this. It would need applying to trunk and 1.3.
