A common use of in-class interaction that the Lecture Communicator provides is a pedagogical method called "Peer Instruction". This involves presenting the class with a question, having them answer it in some time period, then have the class discuss their answers, then have them re-answer the question. This allows the instructor to look for changes (improvements, hopefully!) in student answers.
To make Lecture Communicator more compatible with this style of use, it needs to be able to time questions -- that is questions need to be open for a specified amount of time, for example 30 sec or 1 min. At the end of that time the question is automatically closed and the results are displayed. A countdown clock helps students know how much time is left.
Also, it's important that the instructor have control over whether the correct answer is identified in any way on the results page -- if you're asking the same question twice you don't want the correct answer identified on the first display of results (currently the behavior seems to be to identify the correct answer by using green font -- even if the "don't display correct answer" check box is selected.
