Opportunity to make development faster

I'm currently working with a e-learning company who has its headquarters in Spain and they were looking forward to use a new tool, since they were working with a Closed project it was hard to adapt it to its needs and I proposed the use of learnloop... They are aware that it's not finished, and that it is an open sourced project... and they accepted to work with it, paying me and an extra programmer (that I'm still deciding who will be) to complete the development of learnloop 2...  so we can dedicate a 100% of our time to the project..

I make the annoucement so that if anyone has anything to say, or thinks that it might represent a problem... please, let me know...

I believe it's a good oportunity to bring back Learnloop for good, I suppose they will ask for special modules based on their teaching metodology, but it's a good price to pay for the bennefit that the community will receive....

Any comments, sugestions ??

When could it start?
My coding skills are not good enough, but I will try to support you (and the 2:nd programmer).
We use Learnloop 1.x (4 years now...) and have a lot of ideas how to improve education and coolaboration in groups with LL2.
I am planing for some modules, but Il get back to them later.

I have been talking with the IT Director of the company and they want us to start as son as posible, they will also provide new ideas to generate modules.. I suposse that most of the work will go in the same direction... from what I been hearing at my University.. where we have been using it for 2 years and a half, most of the things that the wanted are already on LL2...

I'm really excited about it, I think we can get to develop a really good tool, I'll be looking for the second programmer during these days, so that he can get an account to use the CVS... as soon as I find him I will ask you to create an account for him (or her) and after that.... ready to go :)

There is still a lot of things to do on LL2 so this will realy speed up things.
My suggestion is that your (you and the 2nd programmer) starts with the missing modules, because there are some things I would like to change/fix in the core before someone else develops it futher (will probably only take a couple of weeks).
