I use LL at my University. Just finished the migration to LL2. So later, so good! :)
So, I want implement the same logic of folders restriction for all of modules type.
For example, I'm a workspace administrator and create a folder that all members has normal access called "HomeWorks". When a member create a new module in this folder, he can "say" witch member(s) can access it. A file for example.
If he don't set anything to this file, all of members will see and access it. In opposite, all members will see, but just who has permission will access it.
Is this very difficult to implement? What will be change on the LL core?
Or I will developer a new module with this feature?
:-/
Thanks for any comments!

Well, there is a problem: It´s not possible right now to set permission to READ, but not WRITE. Everyone who has permission to enter a workspace has read and write permissions.
But it´s a good question, why not implement it?
I will take a look and try to do my best (I´m not the author of the core). Suggestiones are welcome.
I am working on a group module that may solve some problems for you.

I think that this feature is very interesting. This, would help to share the documents easily. I, like a member or workspace admin, could post a file that only selected members will be able to access.
When you start implement anything, please, contact me for help!
But, why this forum is so slow to see a reply?
There are another way, another discussion list about LL that have more participation?
Very Thanks for your message!

Sorry to say, but my time for developing is ending for a while. I am working on a project at my school (handling statistic for students health) so I have no time left.
If you have time and skills I gladly let you in as a developer.

Ok! Good luck on your project. Here (www.unesc.net), I'm creating new modules, upgrading the existing modules, adapting to our needs and demand. If you permit I would like to assist, give a hand (or some fingers) to the project, just say me how.
