LeapInto has been released and I've informed the Leap Motion developer community!
I hope to see it used by new programmers, those who want a simplified interface to Leap and those in the art world, making music applications or art installations. Because of the normalised coordinates and vectors and the convienient hand sorting I think it will be very useful.
I intend to create several plugins for other languages, such as Csound (audio/music programming language), python, etc., especially those languages which are simple, flexible, highly connected to other APIs and so easy to prototype in.
In the short term the project will be tested on as many systems as I can get access to. If you build on a system not yet tested on please post in the forum. I also want to add command-line options for the OSC version, such as IP address, port number, as well as some Leap based options, such as the coordinate bounds within which the hand is sensitive, etc.
Thank you for checking the project out and please don't hesitate to ask questions in the forum, or even just to everyone how you are using it. We will all find it inspiring!
