LEAP Book published

I'm more than a little pleased to be able to announce that a book has just
been published which I've co-authored, that features a chapter on LEAP.

The book is the long awaited 2nd Edition of "Theory and Practice of
Relational Databases", by Stefan Stanczyk, Bob Champion and Richard Leyton.

There are a few reasons I'm posting this to the LEAP list:

- There's a chapter in the book dedicated to LEAP (Chapter 5)
- The LEAP examples historically are focused on the 1st Edition of the book,
and many users of LEAP will have wanted to read this book.
- It's a good book for students of database theory!

It's substantially revised since the 1st Edition was published over 10 years
ago, and now includes much more:

- More focus on "Practice"
- Expanded relational algebra section
- SQL and Advanced SQL
- Object Databases
- Case study

All the examples, including the LEAP database, are available for download
from the above URL. A new version of LEAP will be released shortly which
includes the example database, as well as a few tweaks and improvements.
