This is a first truly Unicode release. It was a major rewrite and there is virtualy no feature of LdapAdmin which was not impacted by this so I hope that I could find most of the bugs. Some nice features like offline browsing and bookmarks as well. Also, there is a translation tool now available. It's still beta but pretty functional.

Ok, I just released the 1.6.1. It should contain a numerous improvements especially in a search functionality (regex, preset queries, etc.) and a number of others which, after almost two years, I can't even remember any more ;-)
Oh yes, at least one more! You can copy and paste, delete and drag and drop between query result sets and the DIT now.

I feel that I have to apologize to everybody out there who uses/used LdapAdmin for a real LONG inactivity period, which was mainly due to my personal but also business situation, which simply completely consumed my thoughts and time. I have a release ready, pending for a year or so, now. The problem is, I could never tested it well and now, I'll just take a chance and release it as is. I hope it won't be as buggy as it could be, but even that is better than to let it rot away on my PC. So, if you do find some horrible bugs, just let me know I'll fix them in no time! Promise :-)

As of the 1.6 release, LdapAdmin is gone multilingual!

Ok, currently only German language is available (this I could do myself) but the really good news is that no programming skills or extra tools are required in order to translate LdapAdmin. All you have to do is to create translated text file and add it to LdapAdmin directory (or configure LdapAdmin to include the file directory in language search path). ... read more

Fixed a bug when editing entries with huge number of attributes (tens of thousands) and performance issues when editing groups with large number of members. Improved GUI performance under Vista or Windows 7.

Fixed a bug in Copy/Move functionality which was introduced in 1.5.

Also, changed the behavior of date/time template components to properly reflect state of the control checkboxes.

This release introduces support for customized menus.

It is now possible to customize action menu responsible for creation and editing of LDAP objects. You can customize layout, change default entries and add new template based actions. Changes to the menu actions will be reflected when editing objects properties as well.

A new release with some bugfixes and improvements (i.e. improved picture viewer, contex highliting, AD support, additional scripting methods, etc.) Also, this is a first version with Unicode support, so it should compile on a newer Delphi compilers (not tested, feedback here would be appriciated).

This build includes scripting support for templates. Now it is possible to include a Javascript or VBScript code in the template file which will be executed when the template is activated. Also, in addition to LdapAdmin parameters, you can now attach Javascript or VBScript events to template controls to provide for more dynamic templates.

It's been some time since the last release, but here it is, 1.2.

Fixed two bugs and introduced a few new ;-)

Most of the pending feature requests are implemented in this release, the rest I hope, would be in the next one.

Ok, the new version is here. I tried to address all feature requests and most of the issues which came up in discussion groups but some things had to be postponed for the next time :-(

This is mainly due to extensive changes in template engine which were necessary for support of nested controls (and all this because someone wanted tabs in templates :-) But, it's a cool feature I believe; you can create some really nice layouts now. It took some time but 0.9.9 release is finally out today.

It includes template support, support for external storage files, improved generic editor and some other new stuff.

There is also a new section on templates on the home page. A few examples are being prepared too.

This release corrects the problem with samba SID: when creating Posix and Samba user simultaniously samba RID would always have value of 1000. Also:
- Added support for md5crypt passwords
- Added password prompt on accounts with empty passwords
- Samba preferences will now be set correctly even if netbios server name is left empty
