Can we have the option to disable the user in ldap and if already the feature is already available, please let me know how to use it.

Hi!
If you are referring to a Posix account, then there is actually no such option. If you are using shadow account, you can set account expires option to an older date so that account is immediately expired. Some tools simulate this option by inserting a ‘!’ or some other sign in front of a user password so that the account becomes effectively blocked. If you want to re-enable the account you just remove ‘!’ and user can again use the account.
