#45 Missing some important attributes in version 1.8.3
Hi, I am using LDAP Admin v1.8.3 and find 2 problems:
- When creating a user and set him to be an member of some groups, the attibute "memberOf" is missing. Its value should be like "cn=users,cn=groups,dc=company".
- When adding users to an group, I can see "memberUid" in that group, but no "member"(its value should be like "uid=123,cn=users,dc=company").
My program stopped because of these 2 problems. Please help me. Thank you.

The atrributes memberOf and member are AD attributes, memberUid is a Posix attribute. You are micin something up. Are you creating Posix or AD user?

The program I am using needs "memberOf" and "member" in LDAP, and I love to use LDAP Admin. Is there any solution? Such as using a template?
Could be, but you really need to give me more details. What directory server are you operationg on and what extensions of schema do you have installed? Can you provide an anonymised LDIF of your user object?
