#3 RH9 Webmin 1.190 module failes to load

when I install the module and browse to
https://fishy:10000/ldap_browser_LDAPapi/ , I get the
following error:

Error - Missing Content-Type Header

Undefined subroutine &main::connect called at
/usr/libexec/webmin/ldap_browser_LDAPapi/index.cgi line 4.

You haven't installed the ldapapi perl module. in cpan do
install Net::LDAP

I need to confirm, here: Are you suggesting I install
something withotu some kind of accounting and verification
of the change? Shouldn't this be a dependency of whatever
package is being installed? If Apt/Yum/whatever has no idea
that I need it, isn't that a bug somewhere?

Do people actually install anything by hand and expect to
have a CLUE afterward? These people deserve to be hacked, I
figure, but maybe I'm jaded from work.

If the module is missing, and my system doesn't properly
know to check for it during the install of the package, I
guess this all really comes down to a packaging error.
