I really like the LD-X programmer for my LD-W-3.
Now the list items says LD-W-2 is only supported for
pre 2004
I understand that I could use the manual part, but
that is difficult because the TAMS instructions
always refer to their central or mobile station
thing. Like push "go" or "stop" button.
How would i translate this to LD-X??

    Hi !

The manual mode make only sense, if you have no central
unit and want programm the decoder with a software central
    unit e.g. DDW.

If you start the programming in the manual mode, the
programmer switch the decoder in the programming mode. To
do this, you have to press the "Go" button at a specific
time. The ld-x-programmer will show a message box when you
have to press it. The "Go" button is the button on the
booster which turns on the power on the tracks.

The other buttons which are noted in the tams
documentation, like F1, F2 and so on maps directly to the
    buttons on the ld-x-programmer.

    Regards,
    Michi !

That is exactly what I want to do. I have no CU, only DDW.

Do you have any plans to update LD-X for the new version
    of decoders?

    Hi !

The real problem for the programming of TAMS decoder with
DDW is the sequence to bring the decoder in the programming
mode. So, I think the manual mode should work for all new
decoders. If not, I will try to change it in the way that
it works. But it is not planned to implement a new special
mode where you can preselect all parameters.

    Greatings,
    Michi !
