Adding autotools option subdir-objects. This will remove the nag about that and make object files be placed into the same directories as the corresponding source files. Apparently future versions of autotools will have this mandatory and it's recommended to make sure it works now. |

Fixed a crash that could happen in car chases if a driver had been killed. Also changed to two pass by value to reference. |

Creature roll_check moved back to private - refactoring the car improvements rendered it unnecessary. Pseudo-skill (negative enum values) for escape vs dodge driving. When doing a skill roll, these get mapped back to using the normal driving skill, but with special modifiers. Expanded vehicle drivebonus into multiple properties. Certain cars can be harder for beginners while at the same time better for experts. Added an armor value to cars; cars no longer block shots all-or-nothing. Instead they blunt the impact of weapons during a chase by adding bonus armor depending on where the shot lands. Expanded the number of dodge-event strings from 4 to 18 While in a car, the dodge/defense roll is performed by the driver, not the passenger being shot at. Vehicles.xml has been updated to provide the new parameters. I have added a spreadsheet to dev\LCS_carchart.ods to help with planning such changes to the vehicles. Converted a few loose tabs to spaces. |
