[Lcms-user] Updated LCMS configure package

I spent today improving the configure-based LCMS 1.10 package. Since
the previous name could cause confusion, the package has been renamed
and is available from the link:

"ftp://ftp.graphicsmagick.org/pub/GraphicsMagick/delegates/lcms-1.10-configure.tar.gz";

Changes from yesterday's version include:

 o Support configuring, building, and installing, the LCMS Python
   extension.
 o Integer math is now the default since it is faster than floating
   point and since this was the effective default for the NON_WINDOWS
   build.
 o Fixed line terminations on all text files.  Some were MS-DOS, or a
   mix of MS-DOS and Unix.
 o Removed execute permissions from non-executable files.
 o Fixed spelling of "sRGB Color Space Profile.icm" in several scripts
   in the python/testbed subdirectory (was spelled
   "sRGB Color Space profile.icm").  Case is important ...

Once again, please let me know if you discover a problem with the
package.

Hello Bob,

what's happened to your work on a configure script based tarball packet?
I can't find anything on graphicsmagick.org about that.

I fiddled around with the lprof package on debian again and encountered=20
big problems installing the lprof profiler suite on my box.

A configure script might simplyfy the kind of installing the lcms or=20
lprof package. I had to edit the makefiles by hand and I'm not a=20
programmer, so it wasn't that easy for me to get it installed.

So I think it would be a work which would be higly appreciate by the=20
normal users.

P.S.: I was disabled from this List for a long while because of bounces=20

It is already incorporated in the lcms 1.11 distribution
(lcms-1.11.tar.gz tarball).  The work is not tied to GraphicsMagick.
Normally this is available from http://www.littlecms.com/ but the site
seems to be experiencing some problems lately. You can retrieve it
from
ftp://ftp.graphicsmagick.org/pub/GraphicsMagick/delegates/lcms-1.11.tar.gz
in the mean-time.
