version 1.6.8. client running on win7 with oracle java, servers are native centos 6.5 linux machines.

i mean i love the documentation, however, it says, right where multihop connection is mentioned, don't read it. but. it could be a really useful feature (as the majority of my cluster members are on a private network that can be reached only through a gateway/ringmaster server), if it would only work... but no. it doesn't. so the question is, whether it is supposed to work and only i'm doing something wrong (it always gets stuck at a login), or that part of the code is simply not ready (then the whole thing about multi-hop should be shelved for now).

i've also tried a different approach: iptables-based port forwarding to the private network, to the cluster members' ssh server, on dedicated highports on the gateway. this didn't seem to work as lcmc seemingly cannot distinguish between different port ssh connections to the same ip. lcmc connects, but after a successful authentication it tries to load up the same information as the already configured gateway server.
