IdeaTorrent available

A few days ago I had the IdeaTorrent hosted app enabled. Check it out at http://sourceforge.net/apps/ideatorrent/lcdproc/.

With the IdeaTorrent you have the possibility to suggest new features for LCDproc and have others users comment and vote on your suggestion.

The IdeaTorrent will replace the 'Feature Requests' Tracker which will be disabled soon.

Web forums and mailing list closure

The project admins have decided to disable the web forums and close the lcdproc-devel and lcdproc-users mailing lists.

These have been used infrequently and may confuse users, as most of our communication takes place at the lcdproc@lists.omnipotent.net mailing list.

LCDproc v0.5 Development Starting

Despite the fact that LCDproc v0.4 isn't even official, we're starting over from scratch and rewriting LCDproc, calling it LCDproc v0.5.

Anyone who'd like to help develop the new LCDproc please drop me a line at willfe@yahoo.com. Please include your SourceForge username if you'd like to actually write code, documentation, or help oversee development. If you'd just like to throw ideas or suggestions at us, go for it.
