I am sure you have so many emails that you might not remember getting this data sheet before, that is
ok I can understand. The problem that I have is the spectrum analyzer worked with previous releases
however instead of slid blocks the bars looked like and embossed "p" or P in reverse. With the newer
versions it does not seem to work at all. Now I see that the newer releases allow for a 4 line spectrum
analyzer so I am wondering if this latest addition might be affecting it. I have included my lcd's data
sheet so that you could get an idea if there are any differences. The funny thing about it is that all the
functions and menu options work fine except the lcd. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That is exactly the same controller that I am using, but it
works fine for me. Check your cord length, and that your RS
bit especially is connected correctly. That is the bit that
allows the new characters to be written to the lcd module. If
all else fails, you could always try tweaking the timings. Good
    luck.
