#78 Support for 1x16 display which is controlled as 2x8

I have an 1x16 HD44780 compatible display which has to
be controlled as an 2x8 display. At the moment i can't
use the display as one line of 16 characters only as
two seperate lines of 8 characters. I would like to
have support for this display so i can use it as an
1x16 display.
