#42 Several suggestions

I'll join to the requests of other people:

Have one key serve
several functions. Eg: 8 (up arrow) could be used as volume up, but
also as menu up when seeing the menu. Same for 2 (menu down), or have 5
be play/pause (kind of a toggle).

Also, ID3v2 would be a nice
addition. Long track names don't look nice when chopped off.
=)

Search with keypad (as mentioned in another request) would
be *really* nice.

Move back 10 tracks is available. How about
forward 10 tracks?

(Re)implementation of the +###+ to jump to
song ###

How about having a key shut down windows? For all
those of us who use your excellent plugin for car MP3 players? If
possible, make it a combination of keys to avoid shutting down
accidentally. Or a repetition on x number of keypresses.

I am
currently taking classes in C++. I am barely starting though, and I
have taken a look at the source and it is way beyond me, at least for
now. Give me a semester or two and I think I should be able to add those
features myself. =)

A few things have been implemented in the meantime:

- forward 10 tracks
- +###+ to jump to song ###
- shutting down / standby / restart

Version 0.5 or newer.
