No but I have a Matrix Orbital display 4x20 Character with Input for a Matrix 5x5 so 25 Keys send by serial. I have test the play, next, pause, stop, previous functions with this input all OK.
But I have test the LCD Menu: Show/Hide Function ("Action" in LCD Plugin) Show is OK but if i Hide, the display is blank !, i have the same problem if I select anything (Playlist, song etc..).
Bref when i use the menu functions ant quit, my display still staying blank = > I can't use the menu = > I can't use the MP3 Player
If somebody has an idea or an printer port keypad plan or sheme to use with LCD plugin contact me at yannick68@wanadoo.fr, excuse my english i'm french and bad scool boy !

the serial input issues are resolved in the current version. Nevertheless I couldn't test it with a MO keypad yet. Works perfectly with the PJRC keypad

I am trying the latest verision and configured the input according to the MO manual found here. The display works great, I can work the menu with the default keyboard settings but serial input from the lcd is not working.
I have the same problem!! I'm realy waiting for input from the lcd-port of an MO-LCD, but don't get an answer from mzed. Seems that this function doesn't work till now.

somehow I managed to disable SourceForge's thread monitor function and never got notified if someone posted a message, so I was thinking nobody needs support.... ;-)

I've made the keypad from http://diba.hotbox.ru and I used that plugin, but there is no support for the lcd menu. Can I use this keypad also to control the lcd plugin and how do I have to configure it?
My LCd is hooked up at the parralel port.
It's a 16x2 character LCD with a HD44780

To the Mr. Nobody above me :
First of all I'm new to Markus' lcd plugin, so I could be wrong :o)
I think it's possible to control the LCD plugin with the Com-port winamp software. You need to configure your buttons as "keyboard buttons".
I tried it with only 1 button (for the moment I don't have the time to make a 15 button keypad) and it works.
The only downside is that winamp has to be on the foreground. If it is running in the background the com-port software will not work and things get more complicated.
If you want full control via your keypad, I suggest you give Girder (www.girder.nl) a try. Download the "Serial Port" plugin and read the documentation in the "switches"directory.
I didn't have the chance to test it yet, but in the past Girder never let me down.
If you have more questions feel free to ask them here. I will do my best to drop by on a regular base.
Good luck,
Rafke P.
