#75 YEN-sign in the menu

Hello Markus,

first of all: Thank you for your great plugin!

Pity, that I have one little problem: In the menu I get
randomly:

1.) The right menu-selected sign (a arrow)
2.) A Yen-sign
3.) No sign

I have no idea what this is all about, because it is
obvious, that he knows the arrow-character.

I had one more display like this (HD4xxxx) and this one
was working with no problem...

... do you know what this is about.

one more thing: Looks like he is choosing the
costum-character 1, because sometimes the plugin is showing
the "YEN-symbol" twice: Now I was painting this character
new and he shows my character.

more detailed what is happening:

1.) In some lines the software showes the selected sign, in
some not.
2.) In my first menu-item ("Archiv") the software is showing
on the left and right side of the entry the selected-sign:
|>Archiv|>

RESOLVED: It was the Display!

Putting up the contrast of the display (did not knew that
this existed) was solving the problem.
