[lcd4linux] Crystalfontz 634 Problem (Spacing + only 1 line)

I have a problem with a: Crystalfontz 634v2.0 kd204.
lcd4linux and the crystalfontz module compiled fine, and when I start
lcd4linux I get to see the LCD4Linux intro screen, with on the bottom
2 lines showing the Crystal fontz driver.

Then the intro screen disappears, and my content comes..
However, I can only use 1 line (the first), and on that one line
it only uses the last 10 characters (it's a 20x4 display).
No matter what I use, 'Text' or 'Bar', it skips the first 10 characters,
then
start at character number 11, and then just writes off screen.

Line number 2/3/4 do nothing...

Since the intro screen works alright, I tend to believe that the driver
is alright (even though it uses totally different control codes than
from the datasheet @ crystalfontz.com??), and lcd4linux is actually
mailfunctioning ?

Any hints etc?
I can code and try a bit myself, I also tried to replace the controlcodes
in the driver with the ones from the official datasheet, but then the driver
stopped working (aka, no intro screen anymore etc.), so they seem to be
correct..
