[lcd4linux] Samsung 0282A shows underscores only

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with a 24x8 character LCD, M50530-based, type
Samsung 0282A.

After power-on, it displays two lines of underscores (lines one and four).

I was unable to display any data using this module.

Some connection details:

LCD -- LPT
Pin 1 (Shield) -> GND
Pin 10 (EX) -> Strobe (1)
Pin 13 (IOC1) -> /Autofeed (14)
Pin 11 (RW) -> Init (16)
Pin 12 (IOC2) -> Select In (17)

Any hints?
