Hi Magnus, >>> Display 02: parallel port pin 13 = SELECTED (?) >> This will not work, because SELECT is an INPUT pin and you need an >> OUTPUT signal... > In the wiki (example two display on one bus)there is the a connection between pin 13 (parallel port) and pin 6. Oh... now, I'm not 100% sure, but I guess the example is wrong... >> There are four control pins available: STROBE, AUTOFD, INIT and >> SELECTIN. Which pin you use for which display makes no difference, you >> just have to specify the correct wiring. >> > Means this a double connection because normally AUTOFD ist connected to pin 5 (display) and INIT to pin 4 (display) ? You are right, I missed the RS signal... there is no double connection here. Due to this, I'm afraid there's no way to connect four displays.... somebody should correct the info in the wiki... bye, Michael -- Michael Reinelt <re...@eu...> http://home.pages.at/reinelt GPG-Key 0xDF13BA50 ICQ #288386781 |
