Well, i doubt of the usefullness of this patch as for I2C HD44780
LCD access we 'talk' directly with the PCF8574 chip.

It may be used for other i2c lm sensors related stuff.

And i can't test anything with 2.6 kernels as LEAF still uses
the 2.4 kernel series.
