[Lcd4linux-devel] New I2C implementation, 8 bit interface

AHA!

we've told you! we would not rest on the laurels...

and this is it, i've just managed to build an I2C 8bit interface using 
two PCF8574 I/O extender chips.
it is still assembled in the breadboard, but the amazing thing is, i can 
have both interfaces on the same connector.

Meanwhile me and Paul will continue to cleanup this code, but nothing 
will be commited until the 0.10.0 release is out.

and beware! we are planning new and unlikely features to this interface 
(yes, we are also adding the kitchen sink)
