Well, it wouldn't be that difficult if autoconf would do things like I
want it to do. But as always - the computer does what you write, not
what you want :-)

You are right. Good point - I forgot about cross-compiling.

For the moment, the '--with-plugins=all,!python' looks like a good
workaround. But for the future, when there will be more python support
in lcd4linux, a '--without-python' switch will be the Right Thing (tm).
