No, I have not.

But I think this is a good idea!

At the moment the mailing list is the only important thing hosted at
SourceForge, which I want to get rid of, too (the hosting, not the
mailing lists)

For the moment it would be great if you could set up the list archive at
gmane, and probably even import the archives from sourceforge (I read
something there that such an import should be possible).
