Thanks a lot for pointing this out. There's been a bug in drivers.m4
which did not compile and link the generic text driver for several
displays. Fixed in CVS.

If you do not want to use the CVS version, just omit the
'--with-drivers=MatrixOrbital' parameter to 'configure', so the text
driver will be included anyway.
