I already have lots of ideas about how to put those buttons to good use (since you already provided the polling thread), but I'll have to look at what would easily integrate into lcd4linux. The obvious thing would be to define more than the amount of visible lines, and then use the up and down keys to scroll through that "virtual window". But we'll see. If only that box wasn't so loud - it's obviously no problem once I put it into the 19' rack in the server room, but since the box is on my desk at the moment, the noise is driving me nuts (makes me appreciate my _completely_ silent soekris boxes even more).
