Hi Martin, Your suggestion allowed me to do the configure/compile properly. Now I need to figure out which driver to use.... Will keep the list posted. I know there's quite a few people in a Yahoo newsgroup that is very interested in getting this working as well for the Toshiba Magnia SG-20. To compile without X and PNG, do (in one line): ./configure --without-x --with-drivers=all,\!PNG,\!PPM,\!X11 see the output of "./configure --help" for all options of configure. > Overview about the LCD on the Toshiba SG-20 > > There is some documentation on how to control this LCD via "echo > > /dev/ttyS0" at this Yahoo community group: > > http://f2.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/oCKUPwEKiv-8aCbsd0g3FSc72kAF7tObDIc6MYUhMfUACeD > yqn32cXmWGXQOad0NZiLQ2hUYpbC8lSo8QbRcV3eQMhFvSYtKLg/Magnia%20SG20%20General% > 20Customization%20Guide.pdf Unfortunately, the above link didn't work for me, so I can't say if one of the drivers that come with lcd4linux will work with that display. But since it's controlled via the serial port, I'd try with the ones where the docs suggest that they're connected to the serial port (one of them _may_ work). I hope that helps. Martin |
