[lcd4linux] Compiling on Alpha.

Hello all. 
There has been a lot of talk about the 2.4 kernel ( especially redhat ) and compiling problems with msr.h.
I have an Alpha computer running debian linux with 2.4 kernel. 

#uname -a
Linux ani 2.4.18 #4 Sun Sep 7 18:05:31 MST 2003 alpha unknown

When I compile lcd4linux (lcd4linux-0.9.11) it gives me udelay.c errors with the missing msr.h. Looks like debian doesn't have msr.h. The i386 asm's do , but alpha ones don't . I tried the i386 ones for fun: Didn't work. 

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your help
