Hmmm... I don't have such a large display. My smaller ones do work 
correctly. But there was a bug in the changed parallel prot code, which 
I have fixed. Could you please try again?

At the moment there's a problem at sourceforge with their anonymous CVS 
access. Anonymous access is routet to their backup servers, which are 
updatet with a 24 hours delay only. This means, if I commit a bugfix, it 
may take up to 24 hours until anybody else sees this change. This is 
very annoying....

Anybody has a hint for a workaround?

So please double-check if your "parport.c" is "v1.6", otherwies you got 
the old version.

Pin 17 is "SELECT", therefore you should write
Wire.Enable "SELECT"

btw, what is ELMP?
