Hei, I'm using a 40x4 LCD I took CVS and put controllers=2 in conf file... Result: Blank LCD.. nothing at all. With the old lcd4linux I got 2 rows out of 4.. Btw, how should I write in conf file when I have Enable 1 on pin 17? I'm using the same display on ELMP, so wouldn't want to rewire it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Reinelt" <re...@eu...> To: "Stefan Krister" <ste...@cr...> Cc: <lcd...@li...> Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2003 7:45 AM Subject: Re: [lcd4linux] 40x4 display with HD44780 > >>There are large (40x4) displays which internally constist of two > >>HD44780 chips, with two seperate "Enable" lines.
