Hi Jan, I'm again CCing this to the list. Lets talk about this in public :-) Jan Kloppenburg schrieb: [M50530 Display from old Phone, with some sort of 'symbols' on one line] > if i have the lcd working, i'll try to get this function into lcd4linux's > M50530.c, i love open source :) > but lets start with the wiring first... Well, that would be great. But: implementing this into the driver is probably easy, but how do you think this should be controlled from lcd4linux? How to specify this in lcd4linux.conf? I think I have a great Idea for this: Treat these symbols as GPO's! Normaly a GPO drives a LED, and there is already support for these GPO's in lcd4linux. Now think of these symbols as LED's! Just fill up the GPU function with your code, and we're done! > many thanx again, i'll let you know when i blew up the LCD :) :-) Have Fun! bye, Michael -- netWorks Vox: +43 316 698260 Michael Reinelt Fax: +43 316 692343 Geisslergasse 4 GSM: +43 676 3079941 A-8045 Graz, Austria e-mail: re...@eu... |
