Hi Matrix, > Could it be possible that I have to chance some Pins on > the lpt-stick? Mayby it must be different to the windows version?? Which "windows versioN" do you compare? There is no windows version of lcd4linux. Maybe you're talking about any other windows software. I'm quite shure that you're using a wrong wiring. Take a look at "README.HD44780" and compare your pin wiring. > the output: > ############################################## > ./lcd4linux -f ./lcd4linux.conf -F -vv > Version 0.98 starting > lcd4linux.c: initializing driver HD44780 > udelay.c: CPU supports Time Stamp Counter > udelay.c: CPU runs at 400.904000 MHz > udelay.c: using TSC delay loop, 401 ticks per microsecond > HD44780.c: using raw port 0x378 > [...] > ############################################## looks fine. If you get it to work, you should change the "Port" entry in lcd4linux.conf back to "/dev/parport0", the ppdev() driver is the cleaner solution. bye, Michael -- netWorks Vox: +43 316 698260 Michael Reinelt Fax: +43 316 692343 Geisslergasse 4 GSM: +43 676 3079941 A-8045 Graz, Austria e-mail: re...@eu... |
