[lcd4linux] some hardware problems

Hi,

nice greetings to Graz (with the good "Debreziner mit Kreen"  
foodbar, down the Grazer Liesl).
I worked and testet severeal different displays with lcd4linux, 
most of them worked really fine, but some of them (especially 
4*20 versions) displayed "funny" characters on the display.
The lcd4linux.conf has been edited, the remarks had been 
removes from needed rows, but the rows has been scrambled, 
(ROW1 is in ROW3, ROW2 is in ROW3..) and one row was missing.
An also tested 40x4 display only worked with 2 rows, is the
something else to configure??

If someone is able (and wants to)  test and configure a dispaly with, 
8 rows and 24 characters each row, feel free to mail me.
