Hi there,

I'm very sorry, but it seems that none of the documentation files have
made their way into the tarball. It's my first time with autoconf,
automake and friends, and I didn't really check the distribution. 

If you need the documentation, you can either 
- use the CVS
- wait a few days until 0.97 is released (I'm waiting for another
success report with the HD44780 driver), where the problem is fixed, and
all README's are in the tarball.
