Hi Martin! another thing came to my mind: your patches will not help getting one-shot timers to go out of sync? As we are basically increasing the timeout value of a timer, and compensate processing delays, this won't work for one-shot timers, because there is nothing to increase... If we want to keep the "dynamic update values" which can be changed at runtime (and I think I want to), maybe a "timer_mod()" function to set a new update interval would solve this?
