[lcd4linux] How to...

I have never posted in a mailing list before so please forgive me if I =
get it wrong or something :-)

I want to install and use LCD4Linux on redhat 7.3
Heres is what i have done:

-extracted and untared the tarball.
typed this:[root@redhat lcd4linux-0.98]# ./configure --prefix=3D/usr =
--enable-drivers=3Dhd44780
then typed this:[root@redhat lcd4linux-0.98]# make (i assumed this part =
from LCDproc)

I have read the README file but thats for when its been installed right?

If i run INSTALL I get this:

Just try make install
and not ./INSTALL
if you type less INSTALL you will see what I am mean ;)
