[Lcd4linux-devel] Multiple screens

Hi all..

 

I'm wondering if it is possible to use multiple screens with lcd4linux.

I've a Crystalfontz 634 and want have a view more screens with an interfall
of 5-10 sec.

Is this possible and how do I do this.

 

I hope my question is clear.

I haven't tried it (yet), but I think you could launch multiple
instances of lcd4linux and specify a different configuration
file for each with the -f option.

Okay, I misunderstood, I thought you meant multiple physical
displays.  You want to change what lcd4linux.conf refers to
as "Layouts" -- but you can't do that yet.  Not cleanly, at
least.

If you use a combination of the file reading plugin (in current CVS),
output of desired display information to a file at separate lines, and
time-dependant variables to compute line numbers, then you can hack it
in there.
