I am using WinXP Home Service Pack 2, I start up the
GUI and the file dialog appears. I choose a Liberty
Basic .bas file and then I choose a location to save
the .exe to. The program closes. I go to where the exe
is meant to be but there's no file there!

When running it from a command line you can see tha the compiler is having issues with certain aspects of the programming language.
the compiler was made for LB 1.25 of so... we are curently at ver. 4. something ort other
