The idea of a OpenGL canvas is not new, but this implementation inherits from TCanvas, so you can use code which is designed to access a TCanvas.

Please review the code in LazControlGLTests to see what this actually means. None of the code in LazControlGLTests was written with OpenGL in mind. And yet, the code works for a standard TCanvas, plus a TLazCanvasGL.

Note: The font display needs work, and I'm not 100% happy with the TBitmap to texture linkage.
