There are several libraries which should be updated, either EoL or just have updated version available.
Libraries shuold be updated and external dependencies shuold be minimised.
There are now updates done. Seem to work.
Found some updates still that would work as is (without any changes) with later versions also, and one that has not been required anymore for long time:
commons-collections-3.0 -> not actually used/required?
commons-codec-1.6 -> works without code changes commons-codec-1.7.jar
commons-discovery-0.4 -> works without code changes commons-discovery-0.5
httpclient-4.2.1 -> works without code changes httpclient-4.2.2
httpcore-4.2.1 -> works without code changes httpcore-4.2.2
