Hello, I am still a simple user and I had the same problem. Well, and my Windows is Hungarian so I am not sure that I refer to the original English menus etc.
So whilst Launchy is "buried" into the start menu and is always on (resident) in the background, I went into the task manager (5th button after Ctrl-Alt-Del) and found launchy.exe in the second tab from the left (titled running processes? flowsheet? process(ions) or so) and simply made this procedure force finished. Then I could successfully remove the program in the Windows Programs Access and Defaults menu from the Start menu and install it again by its .exe file (everything to overwrite, everything to replace if asked by the Installer). When reaching the Finish button, tick to the "Launch Launchy" and it can really start AFTER Alt-Space. Options you can then customize optionally, also later on, launching the program and right click. You have to launch Launchy always by Alt-Space after it disappears or is hidden by Esc. Give it a try, as I tried a command line in the Windows Explorer which I couldn't make operate, though it was given as an answer to you from a skilled "fellow". Hello, Gabor (dolphinite)
