#48 2.0 indexes, won't launch document files

Switched over to 2.0 a few weeks ago, and the only major complaint I have right now is I can't seem to launch *.xls and *.doc files. They show up in the search, but when I hit enter, nothing happens. Excel or Word don't start, and Task Manager shows no sign that anything's happened. (Doing a quick test just now, *.txt doesn't work either.)

These used to work just fine for me in 1.25 - is there an option or something I'm missing? *.lnk files and folders work like they're supposed to, but the problem I'm having really reduces the utility I got from 1.25.
