I have been using Launchy for some time and for a while it has been working very well. Recently however, it stopped working.
Launchy.exe process is running according to task manager but pressing 'ALT-SPACE' fails to open it.
I have never changed the shortcut key to open launchy.
I uninstalled/reinstalled but this did not remedy the problem.
Does launchy have any dependencies on the system path or env variables?

After some investigation, Launchy was active and working but ALT+TAB caused the Launchy dialogue box to appear off screen so it was never visible. This can be detected if you open launchy, type a command and press enter. If the command you type is executed, you know this is the problem.
The solution to this problem is to increase your monitor resolution and/or play around with your monitor placement in My Computer-->Properties-->Settings

I have the same problem, it seems to be running and appears when i use the hotkeys, the problem is... ITS INVISIBLE!
This didnt happen with the old version so ive changed back, its a bit sad though since i cant use the new functions of the new version =(
Please fix this... i cant manage without launchy! Theres no alternative to this wonderful software!!!

Ah thanks a lot! That was the problem.
Shouldnt be too hard to make a fix for this however, just adding launchy to check current screen height and width and if the top, left placement on screen exceeds, then its moved to the center or something.
An easy solution that the developer should add later on =)

I had the same problem with 1.03. After i deleted launchy.ini and renamed
launchy.db to launchy.db.bak. Then i started launchy again, and yeah - it works!

I had a similar problem; close the Launchy process...go to the Launchy folder...normally it would be under Program Files\Launchy...double click the Launchy program...it came up for me at least...I changed the hotkey to Win-space.
