Hi,
when I type in e.g. "firef" Launchy still offers me
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe even though it should offer
me Firefox.
STEPS:
1. Delete launchy.db
2. Start Launcy
3. Open Launchy and type in "sourcesa" and Launchy
offers Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe
4. Press ENTER to start Sourcesafe
5. Open Launchy again and type in "firef" --> Launchy
still offers Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe as the first
option

*should* offer is a bit relative ;) Launchy has to guess
what it is that you want. It has seen that you like
"Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe" and as such considers it a
good guess since it contains all of the letters in "firef".
If you run firefox more than visual sourcesafe, firefox
will come up first for firef.

IMHO, Launchy should absolutely not work this way, but
instead search for exact string matches in program names.
I see no reason why I would like to start Firefox by typing
in "ie". (It actually isn't offering Firefox with "ie" even
though those letters are in Firefox?)
The only reason one might want to use some other than exact
string matching is maybe if Launchy would take the first
characters from program names that contain more than one
word. One could then start Internet Explorer with "ie" and
Windows Media Player with "wmp". But that's another story
then...
